December Events

Rockville Presbyterian Christmas Activities

It’s that most wonderful time of the year and one of the most beloved traditions at RPC is coming!. On Sunday, December 23 we will ring out our joy on Bell Sunday. Find all your bells, bring them to the service and we will ring out the Good News of our Savior’s birth as we sing carols. If you can’t find a bell, we will have some extras on hand. We all become children at heart when we accompany the carols with our bells. RING OUT!

Christmas is coming and soon the decorations will be up. I will again be setting up a table to sell the RPC ornaments before and after the church service during December. The cost is $5 a piece. If you did not get one from last year’s sale, this is your chance! If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 301-251-6392 or email at Thanks

It has long been a tradition of this church for members to purchase poinsettias in memory of loved ones, in gratitude for God’s gifts, or in honor of special people. The poinsettias will be placed in the sanctuary for Christmas and can be picked up after the Christmas Eve service. Elaine tells me that the red ones are particularly beautiful this year. The cost is $10.50 and you will be billed by the florist. The signup sheet is hanging on the kitchen door and the deadline to place an order is Sunday, December 16. Let’s make the sanctuary bloom!
