Nursery Attendant:
Rockville Presbyterian Church seeks a nursery attendant to act as the primary caregiver for infants, toddlers, and pre-Sunday School age children of congregation members during church services. Hours would be Sunday mornings from 10am - 12pm with occasional additional hours for special meetings and services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sunday Morning Nursery Room Operation
Acts as the primary caregiver for babies, toddlers and pre-Sunday School age children of congregation members (generally less than five years old) during church services. To the extent possible and when arranged in advance, provides caregiver services for special meetings of the Church.
Provides direction to youth and/or adult volunteers who assist in the nursery room during services.
Reports for duty at 10:00 am and standardly, remains available until 12 noon, or as soon as all children have been picked up by congregation members.
Upon reasonable and advance notice, makes themself available to cover the nursery for other services or meetings by request.
Ensures that parents are notified if there are any issues related to care of their child during the time that they are in the nursery room.
Communicates any issues related to operation of the nursery room to the Head of Staff.
Compensation
Compensation for Sunday mornings from 10am-12pm is $60 per session, negotiable based on experience.
